Escorts MF to launch liquid plan

ESCORTS mutual fund is launching its liquid plan and has filed the offer document with the Securities and Exchange Board of India.

The primary investment objective of the scheme is to provide income and liquidity, consistent with the prudent risk from a portfolio comprising of money market and debt instruments.

This income may be complemented by a possible capital appreciation. The aim is to optimise returns while providing liquidity, according to the offer document.

The scheme has three plans. The minimum application amount on Plan A is Rs. 10,000, on Plan is B Rs. 50 lakh and Plan C is Rs. 3 crore.

There are no entry or exit loads on the scheme at present, says the document.
