Pantaloon's pref allotment to Bennett Coleman

PANTALOON Retail (India) Ltd has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that at an extra-ordinary general meeting of the company held on February 4, the shareholders approved the preferential issue of 9,53,653 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 724.02 per share to Bennett Coleman & Company Ltd, and the preferential issue of 4,08,165 warrants to Mr Kishore Biyani, Managing Director, at Rs 735 per warrant.

Shareholders also approved the increase in the company's borrowing limits from Rs 400 crore to Rs 750 crore.
