Federal Bank to host seminar on trading in gilts

Kochi , Feb. 4

FEDERAL Bank will be hosting a one-day seminar on investment, trading and operations of Government securities on Saturday at Guwahati.

Representatives of cooperative banks in the North Eastern region, corporates and high networth individuals are expected to participate in the event. Mr Himangshu Sekhar Das, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, would inaugurate the function, which will be presided over by Mr P.R. Sankaranarayanan, Executive Director of the bank.

Having opened its branches in key business centres of the North Eastern region such as Guwahati, Shillong, Silchar, Jorhat, Tezpur, Dimapur and Tinsukia during the mid seventies.
