Amtek board okays Sigma buy

NEW DELHI: Amtek India Ltd today said that its board has approved a plan to buy the entire equity stake in Sigma Cast Group of the UK for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement to the BSE, Amtek India said that its plan to buy all of Sigma is subject to clearance from the Reserve Bank of India.

Sigma is one of the world's largest suppliers of turbo charger components for automobiles.
