Advertising SSC&B Lintas bags MTNL account Our Bureau
Mumbai , Feb. 8 SSC&B Lintas, the mid-size creative agency of Lintas India group, has gained entry into the advertising panel of of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL). This marks the agency's entry into the telecom sector. According to industry sources, the account is worth around Rs 40 crore, and SSC&B is expected to gain around 60 per cent of the total account. Pressman Advertising and Subhagaya Advertising are other members of the panel, which will take care of the tender ads issued by MTNL. The tender for the empanelment was called in December. "Telecommunications is a focus area that we had identified, and MTNL is our first telecom client. This win is in line with our strategy to focus on few clients, and win most of them," the President of SSC&B Lintas and Director of IMAG, Mr Ashish Bhasin, told Business Line. The client brief was to build the MTNL brand across the host of services offered, Mr Bhasin said. SSC&B Lintas sees this as another endorsement of our strategy to offer a world-class communications product to a select client base, he added. The agency started the year in a big way through the consolidation of its entire value chain by upgrading its proprietary tools, besides launching new ones. It has launched a host of planning tools and management software, which will provide insights into particular brands and enable effective brand management techniques. The agency also brought in the Lintas process management tool, Linwiz, under its fold last month. The key clients of SSC&B Lintas include Videocon, Moser Baer, Vardhaman, Hero Motors, Hyundai, Indian Express and ACL.
