Arts & Crafts Kerala handicrafts expo Our Bureau
MANGALORE: The Kerala State Handicrafts Apex Cooperative Society Ltd will hold exhibition-cum-sale of its products in Mangalore from February 11 to 22. Mr A.K. Balachandran, Manager in-charge of exhibition, told presspersons here on Thursday that the society is playing a vital role in the marketing of items produced by 30,000 artisans in 103 primary co-operative societies. Sponsored by the Union and State Governments, the society has several sales emporia in the country. The Mangalore Mayor, Mr Purandaradas Kuloor, will inaugurate the exhibition, he added.
