NEW DELHI: Microsoft Corporation India today launched its anti-piracy programme — the Genuine Windows `How to Tell' campaign, to educate customers on piracy.

"The campaign enumerates two features to ascertain the authenticity of the operating system in the PC - the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and the edge-to-edge hologram CD. A PC pre-loaded with a Genuine Microsoft Windows XP will have a COA label attached to the body of the PC (CPU). An Edge-to-Edge Hologram CD features a three-dimensional holographic image over the entire surface of the CD," a company release said here.
