THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: AS part of its third anniversary celebrations, Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences-Thiruvananthapuram is organising an international medical conference in the city.

Over 500 delegates are expected to attend the conference, which will begin on February 13, says a press release. The hospital's new cardiac surgery wing will be inaugurated during the conference, the release adds.

A highlight of the conference will be the `Dr M.R.S. Menon memorial oration' to be delivered by Australian cardiologist Dr Timothy Cartmill.
