Another IBM `Think World' outlet in Kolkata

IBM India and Micro Solus Systems & Software Pvt Ltd recently announced the inauguration of IBM's third exclusive "Think World" outlet in eastern India and its second in Kolkata at Salt Lake here.

The outlet will provide live demonstration of products such as the Think Center PC, ThinkPad Notebooks and the latest range in server technology, including the "Blade Servers" that cater to the needs of the government sector, educational institutions, the corporate sector and individual customers.

Demonstration of the IBM Think Option range of PC accessories would also be available at the outlet that was inaugurated by Mr Manab Mukherjee, West Bengal's Minister for Information Technology.

Mr Goutam Chatterjee, Managing Director of Micro Solus Systems & Software, said that besides being engaged in developing IT solutions, Micro Solus already has a service centre authorised by IBM, HCL and Epson, among others.

He said the Think World outlet would facilitate seamless customer service, both pre and post-sales.

In his address, Mr R. Mukhopadhyay, Business Manager of IBM, expressed the hope that the Think World outlet would bring to homes and offices alike in Kolkata latest IBM products and technologies.
