Coimbatore , Feb. 11

SUPER Spinning Mills has recorded an 11-per cent growth in its sale income, at Rs 95.32 crore, for the quarter ended December 2004, compared with Rs 85.77 crore in the same year-ago period.

But net profit for the quarter shrunk by 24 per cent at Rs 1.96 crore, against Rs 2.58 crore previously. The lower net profit was attributed to a higher deferred tax provision of Rs 1.14 crore shown for the quarter, compared with Rs 58 lakh earlier.
