Painting camp on Prithvi 2005 in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A painting camp on `Environment and eco-friendly lifestyles' was held here as part of the forthcoming global eco-meet, `Prithvi 2005.' Dr C. Suresh Kumar, Organising Secretary, Prithvi 2005, said here that more than 30 artists from across the State participated in the camp, which was inaugurated by Mr Sundaran Nadar, Deputy Speaker of the Kerala Assembly.

Miniatures of the paintings executed at the camp will be presented to the invited speakers from different countries taking part in the 10-day Prithvi 2005 commencing here on February 19. They will be featured also in souvenirs being distributed to the 3,000 delegates attending the session, Dr Suresh Kumar added.
