Insurance awareness week

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), the Lead Bank for Thiruvananthapuram district, and the Thiruvananthapuram Division of the National Insurance Company are jointly observing an Insurance Awareness Week from Wednesday.

Mr M.P. Ramkumar, Senior Divisional Manager, National Insurance, and Mr K.M. Ananda Krishnan, Chief Officer, IOB, Thiruvananthapuram Region, said a series of seminars on insurance would be held at 32 branches of the bank in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts during the week. At IOB, the special observance on insurance has already come into effect from Monday onwards.

Officials from both the Life Insurance Corporation of India and National insurance Company will address these seminars to be held on specified dates.
