National youth fest in Hyderabad

Hyderabad , Feb. 14

MORE than 3,000 youth, from all States and union territories, are expected to participate in the five-day 10th National Youth Festival beginning here on February 21.

Youth representing various fields, especially art, culture and sports will take part in the festival. An exhibition on adventure sports and of products from different States is also being organised.

A youth convention is scheduled to be held on February 23 and 24 at the State Art Galley in Madhapur and the ANGRAU Agriculture University auditorium.

Popular venues in the city such as Telugu Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Indira Priyadarsini auditorium and RTC Kalyan Mandapam will host a variety of events, according to an official release.

Dance forms such as Kuchipudi, Kathak, Odissi, Perini Siva Thandavam and folk dances will be presented.
