VSNL confirms S. African offer

Mumbai , Feb. 15

VIDESH Sanchar Nigam Ltd on Tuesday confirmed that that the Ministry of Communication of the Government of South Africa has decided to allot 26 per cent stake in the country's Second Network Operator (SNO).

The offer was made to Tata Africa Holdings (SA) (PTY) Ltd through a communication on February 11, which represents VSNL, said the latter, in a notice to the stock exchanges today.
