Direct Marketing ThompsonConnect is now RMG Connect Our Bureau
Chennai , Feb. 16 THE direct marketing division of JWT, ThompsonConnect Worldwide, will now be called RMG Connect. The decision for a change in identity, according to a press release, is part of a global initiative by JWT to add a renewed thrust to its direct marketing operations worldwide. RMG Connect will continue to be a fully integrated JWT company, and offer direct marketing, interactive and promotional services to clients around the world. Previously, the direct marketing operations of JWT across the world were spearheaded by RMG Connect in certain countries and ThompsonConnect in others. Commenting on the change of name, Mr Rakhshin Patel, Senior Vice-President and General Manager, ThompsonConnect, said, "We will continue to be JWT's exclusive relationship marketing arm and leaders in the CRM space." The change in identity is not just a cosmetic one, as RMG Connect's clients "will benefit from a wider range of tools, both proprietary and shared". "What excites me most about being part of RMG Connect is the opportunity that our employees will get to apply advanced international tools and enhance their learnings, capabilities and add value to their clients business," adds Mr Patel. The RMG Connect network will be spread across the continents of North America, Latin America, Europe, West Asia, Africa and Asia. Some of its existing global network clients include Shell, Vodafone, HSBC, Pfizer, Unilever, Diamond Trading Company and Nestle.
