Our Bureau

PUNE: Amdocs, provider of software and services to the telecom sector, is scouting for an Indian partner who would help the company in system integration and also assist in business development.

The company is in talks with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd for partnership in the customer segment.

Mr Artzi Benkuzari, Division President, and Mr David Avner, Chief Operating Officer, said the company's Pune centre would ramp up its employee strength from the current 500 to 1,000 by the end of the current calendar year.

The centre, which was set up in last January has seen an investment of $10 million and is geared to support the full spectrum of its product development activities using software technologies.
