Nava Bharat's new furnace takes off

HYDERABAD: Nava Bharat Ferro Alloys Ltd, the Hyderabad-based industrial house with interests in ferro alloys, sugar and power, has informed the stock exchanges on Friday that its new and fourth furnace of 27.6 mVA (megavolt ampere — an indicator of power load) at its plant at Paloncha in Khammam district here commenced operations on Thursday.
