NextGen's gateway tool

MUMBAI: NextGen Automation, an Australian technology company with its research laboratory in India, is launching Gateman, an integrated gateway device.

Gateman incorporates surveillance, security, e-mail, automation, firewall and proxy facilities in a single device.

Access to the user is available from anywhere in the world via the Internet as well as Java-enabled GPRS or CDMA mobile phone.

Priced between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1,30,000, this product is targeted mainly at small and medium enterprises, especially jewellery and garment manufacturing units, and at a smaller level at colleges, schools and laboratories.
