Events CII Young Indians Summit on Feb 25-26 Our Bureau
Chennai , Feb. 18 BY 2020, half of India's population will be under the age of 35 and it is critical to harness the constructive and creative potential of the Indian youth, said Mr Narayan Sethuramon, Managing Director, W.S.Industries (India) Ltd. Mr Sethuramon, who is Vice-Chairman, Young Indians, a part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), said that it was important that successful and creative young Indians come together and share their dreams and aspirations. It was also important that young Indians become more active in every sphere of the society. Mr Sethuramon announced the second Young Indians Summit will be held in Bangalore on February 25 and 26. Its theme is "Transforming India: Making It Happen". He said the Summit would act as a platform for extensive open interaction, sharing of inspirational stories and both formal and informal networking. The two-day summit will have sessions on social issues, education, unemployment, technology, leadership and management, with speakers from industry, government, sport, armed forces, media, entertainment and non-governmental organisations.
