Indo-Italian hubs for IT, maths

Hyderabad , Feb. 19

THE B.M. Birla Science Centre, Hyderabad and the University of Udine, Italy have set up the International Institute of Applicable Mathematics and Information Sciences, with two hubs at the respective campuses.

The International Institute would be supported by the Government of Italy. A memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed by the Minister for Science and Technology, Mr Kapil Sibal and his Italian counterpart, Ms L. Moratti in New Delhi recently.
