UAE trust offers NRI support for Kerala airline plan

Abu Dhabi , Feb. 19

THE UAE-based welfare organisation Pravasi Bandhu Welfare Trust has offered the full co-operation of NRIs for the proposed Kerala budget airline announced by Mr V.J. Kurien, Managing Director, Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL).

Mr K.V. Shamsudheen, Chairman, Pravasi Bandhu Welfare Trust, told Business Line that he was confident that the venture would be a success. He said the trust was ready to help propagate the idea and support the venture.

"We are optimistic that the Kerala Government will approve the proposal in view of CIAL's successful track record. The Kerala budget airline will solve the difficulties of the NRI community" he said.
