German co Merten to launch building solutions

Mumbai , Feb. 19

MERTEN GmbH and Co.KG, a 100-year old German company providing electro-technical system solutions for buildings, will set shop in India through its representative, Geo Switch, a Bangalore-based firm.

Merten manufactures four different types of products , including design-oriented range of switches, security systems and binary inputs.

The company provides a range of products that are suitable for any house or building where high-utility solutions are required, including hotels and public buildings.

"The convenience and safety of customers are important to us," Mr Rainer Steffens, Manager, Hotel Products, Merten, told Business Line. Merten and Geo Switch will be holding road shows in Bangalore as part of their launch.

"We are focused on customer tailor-made solutions," Mr Steffens said.

The company recognises the importance of pre-sale and after-sale services, he added.
