New Delhi, Feb. 19

THE eco-safari operator from Africa, Conservation Corporation Africa has signed popular South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes as its ambassador to India.

Late last year, CC Africa had entered into a three-way joint venture with Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and a Nepalese company for setting up eco-lodges in India.

According to its Chief Executive Officer, Mr Steve Fitzgerald, the joint venture company will invest up to $8 million to put up eco-lodges in India. "In fact, we are eyeing 15 per cent of our total business from India within three years," he said.
