Mumbai , Feb. 20

KALE Consultants has won a renewed contract worth $12 million from Qatar Airways for providing revenue accounting and revenue recovery services.

Qatar Airways has outsourced its revenue accounting service to Kale MPS{trade}, the BPO centre of Kale.

The contract will run for four years and could be worth $20 million-$25 million in this period , given the airline's current growth, said Mr Akbar Al baker, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, at a news conference here.

Mr Al Baker said the airline would soon finalise other outsourcing deals, which are under negotiation.

He said the airline was committed to outsourcing non-aviation jobs to reduce costs.

The association between Qatar Airways and Kale began in 2001 when the airline outsourced some segments.
