Hyderabad , Feb. 21

THE former Chief Minister and the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has said that the Congress Government in the State has failed on all fronts during its nine-month rule.

Taking part in the discussion on Motion of Thanks on Governor's Address on Monday, Mr Naidu said that the Congress Party was not fulfilling its electoral promises and the credibility of the Government was at stake.

Apart from the breakdown in law and order, corruption is rampant in the State. There is also a steep rise in the prices of essential commodities.

"The State Secretariat has become a fish market and Andhra Pradesh is getting a negative image. The Government machinery has come to a standstill with all institutions being made defunct," the leader of the Telugu Desam Party alleged.
