Jet Airways IPO subscribed 10 times

MUMBAI: The Jet Airways IPO has been oversubscribed 10 times as on Wednesday, according to figures released on the stock exchange Web site.

The number of bids received exceeded 17.5 crore as against the issue size of 1.72 crore. The issue through book-building closes on Thursday.

Maximum bids received were at Rs 1,125, according to merchant banking sources. The qualified institutional buyer category was oversubscribed by 17 times. The maximum subscription received was from foreign institutional investors, the sources said.

Meanwhile, Kotak Securities, the book running mangers, has said the IPO could also be subscribed over the phone under its recently launched Easy IPOs facility.
