Mumbai , Feb. 23

FIDELITY International, FMR Corp and their subsidiaries have acquired shares in D-Link (India) Ltd amounting to 5.02 per cent stake in the latter.

The combined holding of these investors in D-Link is now 15,07,700 equity shares.

It is not clear whether this would make a difference to the foreign shareholding in the company. As at end December 2004, the total foreign shareholding in the company was 46.2 per cent. This was inclusive of the 36.52 per cent holding of `persons acting in concert' with the promoter.

The promoters held 26.05 per cent stake and 16.69 per cent was with the public.
