Student recruitment fair at Bangalore

THE first regional student recruitment fair under the banner of GETEX - the Global Education & Training Exhibition - will be held here from February 26 to 28. International universities will be represented at this exhibition, offering higher education options for students and working adults.
GETEX 2005, an extension of GETEX - Dubai, Asia's largest student recruitment exhibition will be hosted by International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E) and supported by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.
"The Indian region is evolving in the area of higher education with the best breed of international universities, and students are vying to become global managers," said Mr Anselm Godinho, Managing Director, IC&E, the organiser of the event.
"On the other hand, there is no doubt that in the coming years, Asia will provide a prime vantage point for students interested in higher education in specific fields of study such as science, mathematics and medicine."
From MBA courses; Training and Human Resources Management; Business Management, IT and e-learning; and Healthcare & Engineering Education, the exhibition will encompass the full spectrum of subject offerings.
