Tourism Vestige of the past K.K. Mustafah
A view of the Shaktan Thampuran Palace in Thrissur, a heritage building, which has been reopened to the public. The 5.5-acre land on which the palace stands has a heritage garden and archaeological park. The palace, which blends Dutch architectural style with Kerala tradition, was taken over by the Archaeological Department in 1992 and renovated at a cost of Rs 1.75 crore.
