Dubai Internet City keen on AP project

DUBAI Internet City (DIC) has expressed interest in associating in the development of the proposed Knowledge Corridor in Hyderabad.

In addition, it is exploring the possibility of establishing a unit of DIC in Hyderabad, according Dr Omar Bin Sulaiman, Director-General, Dubai International Financial Centre and CEO of DIC.

Leading a four-member team, Dr Omar called on the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and discussed these issues, according to an official release.

Dr Omar said that Dubai was keen on exploring possibilities of building investment relations in Hyderabad and work with the State Government.

Dr Reddy welcomed the idea and directed the Principal Secretary (Industries) to examine the issues and formulate necessary proposals.
