Hutch Telugu service

HYDERABAD: Hutch has announced the introduction of 123 Telugu service, an interactive voice response service. It allows subscribers to dial 123 for ringtone downloads, caller tunes, entertainment and astrology in Telugu.

The Operations Director, South for Hutch Essar, Mr Samuel Selvakumar, said: "a large portion of our users use Telugu as their primary language. The new service provides them information in the language they prefer".

Inaugurating a retail shop near Hitec City today, Mr Selvakumar said Hutch continues to expand operations and reach in the State and has a subscriber base of about 3,73,000 in Andhra Pradesh. Mr Selvakumar announced Mr Hamir Bakshi has taken over as the Chief Operating Officer for Hutch in Andhra Pradesh.
