Chandra Textiles bags safety award

COIMBATORE: Coimbatore based Chandra Textiles Ltd (CTL) has won a state safety award given by the Inspectorate of Factories for the year 2001.

CTL has won the first prize under the category `Group C' (factories which have worked between 2 lakh and 5 lakh man hours)- scheme III (factories which record the longest accident free period in man-hours during the award year).

The award will be presented at a function in Chennai on March 4, according to a CTL release.
