THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway has announced regulation/rescheduling of two express trains from Sunday to March 31 to take up urgent maintenance work of the railway track between Kanyakumari and Nagercoil.

An official spokesman said here that the 1081 Mumbai-Kanyakumari Express would be `regulated' at Nagercoil for four hours everyday during the period. The 6317 Kanyakumari-Jammu Tawi Express has been rescheduled as well. This train would depart at 4.30 p.m. instead of 2.05 p.m. However, there will be no regulation/rescheduling on Wednesdays, the spokesman added.
