MANGALORE: The Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Co-operative (Campco) Ltd has appointed Mr Younis Bhai, a trader from Mumbai, as its arecanut marketing agent there.

A Campco release said here on Thursday that this move would help Campco to expand its marketing network in Mumbai. Quoting the Campco President, Mr L.N. Kudoor, it said that the co-operative is receiving good response to its retail arecanut marketing initiative in Gujarat market. Recently Campco had launched small packets of arecanut in the Gujarat market.
