Cold storage facility for milk in Theni district

Madurai , March 3

A COLD storage facility for stocking milk and milk products of Aavin will be coming up in Theni district soon.

According to the District Collector, Mr Rajesh Lakhoni, the facility would be set up at SIDCO Industrial Estate at an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh and the funds for the project has been sanctioned. It would help increase milk procurement, which is in the order of 70,000 litres in the district.
