Praj Industries finds Budget positive

Our Bureau

PUNE: The Manager Director of Praj Industries Ltd, Mr Pramod Chaudhari, has said the Budget is good, especially with the thrust on agri and agro- processing industries.

He noted that reduction in customs duty for metals and molasses, is a welcome step and added that it would add to the competitiveness in the industry.

At the same time it would also remove the shortages of input material. With the reduction in import duty to 10 per cent, more molasses could come to the country thus reducing the shortage.
