An inside view of the Alleppey Cooperative Spinning Mills at Kareelakkulangra near Kayamkulam. Such units will gain from a Rs 26-crore infrastructure development project for the textiles industry announced by the State Industries Department. The project will be implemented with technical assistance from the FACT Engineering and Design Organisation and the South Indian Textiles Research Organisation.
