SriLankan to raise flights to India

New Delhi , March 7

THE national airline of Sri Lanka, SriLankan, is to increase the number of flights that it operates to some Indian cities from the end of this month.

In a statement, the airline has said that while the number of flights to Kochi is to double from the existing six flights a week to 12, those to Kozikhode are to increase from the existing six to nine. In addition, the airline will also increase flights to Thiruvananthapuram from the existing nine to 11 and to Tiruchi from seven to 10. Besides, the airline will offer a daily service to Hyderabad.
