Satyam, Compuware partner for `quality assessment' services

SATYAM Computer has announced partnership with the Nasdaq-listed Compuware Corporation to launch Compuware Centre of Excellence (CoE) to provide application and service management solutions.

While Satyam will have access to the Quality Consulting Group as also training on Compuware's automated testing and service management solutions, this centre will provide Application Reliability and Service Management Solutions for IT organisations worldwide.

The Senior Vice-President of Quality Consulting, Satyam Computer, Mr Prabhuu Sinha, said, "Quality and reliability of enterprise applications are of great interest to our customers. This partnership will allow us to provide a comprehensive offering of best practices across the application quality lifecycle."

"Satyam consultants would utilise Compuware QACenter and Compuware Vantage to offer services. Compuware Vantage is an application service management solution that helps IT organisations manage application performance from the end-user perspective," Mr Sinha said.

The Senior Vice-President of Compuware, Mr Jamie McGuffie, said, "The Compuware CoE will enhance verification and validation services provided by Satyam QA professional to customers around the world."

The Compuware CoE will be based on Satyam's campus in Hyderabad and provide customers and quality assurance professionals with access to Compuware suite of automated testing solutions and performance management and troubleshooting capabilities.
