VISAKHAPATNAM: More than 900 auto mechanics were imparted training and given free insurance cover (of Rs 1 lakh apiece) at the two-day Castrol 4T Mechanic Mahasammelan held here recently.

A health camp was also conducted by the company for the mechanics. During the workshop, the Castrol technical experts explained the new trizone technology offering protection to the three critical components of a bike - the engine, clutch and gearbox.

A company spokesman said such workshops would be conducted in 24 towns and cities during the next few weeks carrying the message to an estimated 17,000 mechanics.
