PNB plans farmers training centre in TN

MADURAI: The Punjab National Bank plans to start a Farmers Training Centre in Tamil Nadu.

The State Government has been approached for an allocation of nine acres to start the centre. Once it is made available, the bank would establish the necessary facilities, at an outlay of Rs 9 crore, the PNB Deputy General Manager, Chennai, Mr M.A. Muralidharan, has said.

The bank has already taken up similar projects in nine States, he said while addressing a `Customers' Meet' in Tiruchi recently.
