Polling issues

Voters of three States proved that they can't be taken for granted. There is no doubt that the Jharkhand Governor was acting on clear instructions from the centre to install a UPA government. I hope the Prime Minister and the President will intervene. Governors should be made totally independent and they should be non-politicians.

Perhaps in such situations, the Chief Justice of the State's High Court can double-up as the Governor.
