World Bank team calls on AP CM

HYDERABAD: A World Bank team headed by its Chief Economist and Senior Vice-President of Development Economics, Mr Francois Bourguignon, called on the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister explained to the team members the various initiatives his Government has taken up for the development of the rural economy, the industrial and information technology sectors. The team lauded the State Government's efforts in these areas, according to an official press release.
