Andhra Bank CMD awarded

HYDERABAD: THE Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Bank, Mr T.S. Narayanasami, has received the `Telugu Velugu Pride of India' award for 2004 here on Tuesday.

The awards, instituted by the Andhra Pradesh Kalavedika, were given away by the State Governor, Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde.

The others who were conferred the awards include Dr M.F. Hussain, Dr Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Dr Narla Tata Rao, Dr Pratap C. Reddy and Mr K. Varaprasad Reddy. The awards were given in appreciation to their contribution to the country's progress and prosperity.
