Record volume at NCDEX

Mumbai , March 9

NCDEX on Wednesday achieved an all-time high trading volume of 3,100 crore (one-way), according to an exchange release.

On Wednesday (till 5.00 p.m.), 395 members (2,470 users) participated in trading and volumes were Rs 1490 crore (one-way).

There were around 49,280 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guar seed, refined soy oil, rape-mustard seed, chana, jeera and soyabean.

Previous record daily volume was reached at Rs 2,842 crore (on March 2).
