NetVision ties up with US firm

NETVISION Web Technologies, a software development firm, has signed a joint venture agreement with the US-based WavNet Communications to offer cable-less broadband services in the country.

The Ahmedabad-based NetVision has also approached the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India for a licence to start broadband services under its own brand, a senior company official told Business Line. The company expects to increase its turnover to Rs 75 crore in the first year and to Rs 200 crore in the next, subject to TRAI granting the licence in the next couple of months, he added.
