Bajaj Auto elevates Rajiv to MD post; Rahul Bajaj is Chairman

Mumbai , March 9

BAJAJ Auto Ltd (BAL) has informed that following its board meeting on Wednesday, Mr Rajiv Bajaj, currently Joint Managing Director of the company, has been elevated to the post of Managing Director for a five-year term effective April 1.According to an official statement, Mr Rahul Bajaj, now Chairman and Managing Director, has been appointed Chairman for a fresh term of five years, while Mr Madhur Bajaj has been re-appointed Vice-Chairman for a fresh term up to March 31, 2010.
