SRM Tech to increase manpower in Chennai unit

Chennai , March 9

SRM Technologies Pvt Ltd, the Chennai-based software firm, will increase its manpower in Chennai to about 325 in the next few months from 250 now. It will also increase its staff strength in Japan, which is its biggest market, to about 60 from 40, according to Mr P. Satyanarayanan, Managing Director, SRM Technologies.

The company reported revenues of $5 million last year, and expects to report a 30 per cent increase for the fiscal ended March 31, he told Business Line.

It may be recalled that Sofil Information Pvt Ltd, which merged into the SRM Group, was renamed as SRM Technologies.

In Japan, the company has 24 customers, including Hitachi and OKI Software, which has awarded SRM as the Best Offshore Partner.
