Nishagandhi festival in Thiruvananthapuram

Our Bureau

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Nishagandhi Festival, organised by Kerala Tourism, will be held in the city from April 5 to 12. Besides dance and music performances, the eight-day event will also feature a food festival, a crafts bazaar and a flower show, says a Kerala Tourism press release.

Jammu and Kashmir is the partner State for this year's Nishagandhi Festival. Folk arts from Jammu and Kashmir will be performed on all days of the festival, the release adds. Entry to the Nishagandhi and Suryakanti open-air auditoriums at the Kanakakunnu Palace, which are the festival's venues, will be free.
