NORTHGATE BPO Services Ltd has forayed into online advertisement related services with the launch of three business tracking portals.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the Managing Director of Northgate BPO, Mr Venkat S. Meenavalli, said that the company has launched three innovative online service portals that help monitor global online advertisements and also enable corporations to consolidate their business through online users.

Northgate has launched Hunt7.com late last year that serves as pay per click search engine and enables advertisers track the users by leveraging the advantage of reach. This is complimented by Axill Inc., and Globe7 Inc., both subsidiaries of Northgate, which are focussed on online advertisements and telecom services, he explained.

Referring to Northgate business plans, Mr Meenavalli said that the company has recorded total revenues of Rs 30 crore in the nine months ended December 2004 and expects to close the year with total revenues of Rs 40 crore. "However, we expect about 60 per cent growth next year driven by increasing revenue from online service portals. The business mix could possibly change to 50:50 of online revenues and telecom business from 20:80 now," he said.
